BNP candidates have won all five parliamentary constituencies in Dhaka district in the 13th national parliamentary election.

According to the announced results, in Dhaka-1, BNP candidate Khandakar Abu Ashfaq, contesting with the 'sheaf of paddy' symbol, secured 173,781 votes to be elected. His nearest rival, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Nazrul Islam, received 112,622 votes.
In Dhaka-2, BNP's Md Amanullah Aman won with 163,793 votes. His closest competitor, Jamaat-nominated candidate Colonel (retd) Abdul Haque, polled 80,053 votes.
In Dhaka-3, BNP candidate Gayeshwar Chandra Roy secured victory with 98,785 votes. His nearest rival, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Shahinur Islam, contesting with the 'scales' symbol, received 82,232 votes.
In Dhaka-19, BNP's Dewan Mohammad Salauddin was elected with 190,976 votes. His closest rival, Dilshana Parul of the National Citizen Party (NCP), contesting with the Shapla Koli symbol, secured 125,283 votes.
Meanwhile, in Dhaka-20, BNP candidate Md Tamiz Uddin won with 162,504 votes. His nearest competitor, NCP candidate Nabila Tasnim, also contesting with the Shapla Koli symbol, received 57,787 votes.
