East West University students celebrate Pahela Baishakh online

Information Studies and Library Management Department of the East West University has celebrated Pahela Baishakh online amid the spread of novel coronavirus in the country. 

Teachers and students of the department joined a video conference using the online platform Zoom to celebrate this year's Pahela Baishakh. 

Under the directions of the department's Chairman Dr Dilara Begum, the students participated in different activities such as dancing, singing, poem reciting, quiz and game competitions while staying safe inside their home.

"We all will celebrate Pahela Baishakh together next year with new dreams and possibilities in a Bangladesh free from coronavirus," Dr Dilara Begum said to the students at the video conference.
