Comedian Nigel Ng marries Bangladesh-Arabic origin lawyer Sabrina Ahmed 

Malaysian-born comedian and restaurateur Nigel Ng is best known for his viral "Uncle Roger" persona. The orange polo–clad character has gathered a large following for humorously critiquing cooking videos online. He tied the knot with Miami-based lawyer Sabrina Ahmed in Sintra, Portugal, on 19 July.

Sabrina, of Bangladesh-Arabic descent, first encountered Nigel at one of his performances in Miami while working as corporate counsel for a luxury resort developer. A chance encounter on a dating app soon after led to their first meeting at Boston airport in 2022 —an experience they both described as "destined." Nigel proposed to Sabrina under cherry blossoms in Tokyo's Inokashira Park in April 2024, fulfilling her love of flowers.

The couple's upcoming wedding in Sintra, Portugal, celebrated Sabrina's Bangladeshi roots with a sangeet ceremony featuring henna, pastel décor, and traditional dances, alongside a Chinese tea ceremony and Western-style reception. Family, culture, and love are at the heart of their multi-day celebration.
