ICAB celebrates Mujib Borsho and Birth Anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman

Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) celebrated Mujib Borsho and the 101st Birth Anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Wednesday.

To mark the day, a discussion on the life of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and a milad mahfil was held. ICAB President Mahmudul Hasan Khusru also cut a cake in observance of the day.

In his deliberation, the ICAB President recalled the political struggle of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his great contribution to the independence of Bangladesh. He said, "We got the red and green flag under the leadership of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. "

Mahmudul Hasan Khusru also said, "His very deserving daughter and visionary leader Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly to take the country to the superhighway of development, achieving sustainable development goals to build the dreamed 'Sonar Bangla'".

Among others who spoke on the occasion were ICAB Vice President Md Abdul Kader Joaddar, council members Md Moniruzzaman, Mohammed Forkan Uddin, ICAB  Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shubhashish Bose and Chairman, Dhaka Regional Committee Md Selim Reza.
