Hult Prize at IUB holds workshop on youth, innovation and sustainability
On 2 February, Hult Prize at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) hosted a workshop titled "Youth, Innovation and Sustainability: Building Future Leaders for Impact" at the university, with support from the HRM Department.
The workshop brought together students and young changemakers for discussions on leadership, innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship, with an emphasis on impact-driven initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Speakers included National Coordinator of Hult Prize Bangladesh Md Aminul Islam, National Community Coordinator Md Abid Shaharia, and On-Campus Coordinator Rudranil Mondol.
The session also featured guest speakers from the corporate sector, including Group COO of Creative Business Group Zia Uddin Mahmud and HR Executive at US-Bangla Group Hasan Mahmud Samrut, who shared industry perspectives and practical insights.
Organisers said the programme aimed to bridge academic learning with real-world experience and encourage students to think beyond the classroom. The event concluded with a crest-giving ceremony.
