Islami Bank inaugurates premier stall at DITF

Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC inaugurated a premier stall and 3 ATM booths at the Dhaka International Trade Fair.

Obayed Ullah Al Masud, chairman of the bank, formally inaugurated stall no. 63 on 1 January 2025, Wednesday, at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center, Purbachal. Mohammed Monirul Moula, managing director; Mohammed Jamal Uddin Mazumder, additional managing director; AKM Mahbub Morshed, senior executive vice president; Md. Maznuzzaman, executive vice president and Nazrul Islam, senior vice president, along with other executives and officials of the bank, were present on the occasion.

Islami Bank stall provides modern banking and information services to visitors, customers and traders. Merchants can deposit their VAT, tax and other fees of daily transactions through Automated Challan System (ACS) at the stall. Services provided at the premier stall include account opening, cash deposits, and ATM and CRM Booth withdrawals. Besides, information related to deposit and investment, digital banking solutions CellFin App, mCash, agent banking and internet banking.

Depositors can withdraw money from those three ATM booths using their ATM cards to do essential shopping at the trade fair. In addition, sellers can deposit their money at any time through CRM. Islami Bank has provided innovative banking services to visitors at the Dhaka International Trade Fair since 2012. The bank participates in the annual fair to increase financial inclusion and disseminate Islamic banking literacy.
