BUFT hosts roundtable on role of college principals

BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) organised a roundtable discussion on "The Role of College Principals in Promoting Quality Education" on 1 September at its multipurpose hall.
Principals, teachers, and students from 21 colleges in and around Dhaka participated in the event, engaging in constructive discussions on strengthening educational standards and achieving academic excellence in Bangladesh.
In his keynote address, Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan emphasised the importance of innovative leadership, curriculum development, and an inclusive learning environment in preparing students for global challenges. The welcome speech was delivered by the Registrar, Md. Rafiquzzaman, while the session was conducted by the Director of Public Relations, Mohammad Imtiaj.
Participants emphasised the importance of teacher training, modern teaching methods, and co-curricular activities in developing well-rounded students. Teachers and students also shared classroom experiences and challenges.
The roundtable was attended by BUFT's Treasurer, faculty deans, Controller of Examinations, CFO, department heads, representatives from the Admission Office, faculty, staff, students, and well-wishers. The BUFT Brand Ambassador Team and students provided support throughout the event.
