ISU holds webinar on balancing teaching, research and time
A webinar titled 'Teaching, Research, and Time: Turning Overwhelm into Opportunity' was held at International Standard University (ISU) on Tuesday, focusing on how academic pressures can be transformed into productive opportunities.
Faculty members, deans, and academic officials from various departments participated in the session and engaged in discussions.
The keynote address was delivered by Prof Dr Ahmed Mustafa, Professor of Biological Sciences at Purdue University, United States, and Director of the Life Sciences Resource Center. He discussed practical strategies for balancing teaching and research, prioritising tasks, and turning professional challenges into opportunities for growth and productivity.
Among others present were ISU Treasurer Prof HTM Quader Newaz; Prof Mohammad Abul Kasem, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology; Prof Dr Md Ekramul Hoque, Director, IQAC; Prof Dr Mohammad Masudur Rahman; and Registrar Md Faizullah Kawshik.
The webinar began at 8:30pm (Bangladesh time). University officials said similar initiatives will continue as part of ISU's efforts to enhance higher education standards and strengthen faculty capacity. The session concluded with a question-and-answer segment.
