Bangladesh Insurance Association President elected to Parliament
Syed Ahmed, president of the Bangladesh Insurance Association (BIA), has been elected a member of parliament in the 13th national parliamentary election.
Taif Bin Yousuf, an executive member of the BIA and a director of Bangladesh National Insurance Company Limited (BNIC), conveyed his congratulations to Ahmed at a ceremony held at the BIA office today.
On behalf of the association, Taif Bin Yousuf said Ahmed's leadership, experience and commitment to the insurance sector would contribute to national development and the advancement of the financial services industry.
