Abbas, Nazrul, Rizvi, 7 others made PM Tarique's advisers
The appointments were made under Rule 3(b) of the Rules of Business, 1996.
The government has appointed 10 individuals as advisers to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, granting five of them the status of minister and the remaining five the status of state minister.
According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division this evening (17 February), the appointments were made under Rule 3(b) of the Rules of Business, 1996.
Those appointed as advisers with the status of minister are: Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed, Mirza Abbas Uddin Ahmed, Nazrul Islam Khan, Md Ismail Jabiullah, and Dr Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir.
Advisers appointed with the status of state minister are: Humayun Kabir, Brigadier General (Retd) Shamsul Islam, Dr Zahedur Rahman, Dr Mahadi Amin, and Rehan Asif Asad.
The order takes immediate effect, according to the notification.
