What is Iran's reaction to 'Operation Economic Outcast'?
The United States has imposed major sanctions called 'Operation Economic Outcast' to isolate Iran's economy from the world. Washington has threatened to cut off Iran's important sources of income, including oil, and impose secondary sanctions on third countries and institutions doing business with Iran. However, Tehran has rejected this pressure, saying that it will not export even a drop of oil in the event of an economic war. China has also said that it will not support sanctions and pressure tactics on Iran. Meanwhile, Pakistan's Army Chief Asim Munir has visited Tehran and met with top Iranian leaders.
