Mahmudul Hasan appointed DSCC administrator
Hasan will carry out these responsibilities in addition to his current duties and will receive a duty allowance as per government rules
Md Mahmudul Hasan, director general of the Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Inspection Wing under the Local Government Division, has been appointed administrator of the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).
The Local Government Division issued a notification in this regard today (3 November).
According to the order, Hasan will exercise the powers and perform the duties of the DSCC mayor under sub-section (3) of section 25K of the Local Government (City Corporation) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024.

Earlier, on 29 October, former DSCC administrator Md Shahjahan Mia was transferred to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief.
