Yunus, Tarique, Shafiqur, Nahid: Who casting vote where?
According to EC, voting in the parliamentary polls and referendum on state reforms will continue from 7:30am to 4:30pm tomorrow.
Alongside the people of the country, the interim government's Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus and key political figures are also set to cast their votes at designated polling centres in Dhaka as the 13th national election rolls out tomorrow (12 February).
Yunus is expected to cast vote at the Gulshan Model High School and College centre located on Road 86, Block 1/D in Gulshan-2, Dhaka, according to the Chief Adviser's Office.
According to a BNP statement, Tarique Rahman is set to vote at the same centre in Gulshan-2. He is contesting the election from both Dhaka-17 and Bogura-6 constituencies with the symbol of the sheaf of paddy.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman, who is contesting from Dhaka-15 with the symbol of the scales, is scheduled to vote at Monipur Boys' High School.
NCP Convener Nahid Islam, contesting from Dhaka-11 with the water lily bud symbol, is set to cast his vote at AKM Rahmat Ullah University College in Beraid, Badda.
Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish Ameer and 11-party alliance-backed Dhaka-13 candidate Mamunul Haque is expected to cast his vote at the Government College of Physical Education polling centre in Mohammadpur, the party said.
Besides, Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin is scheduled to vote at Eskaton Garden High School and is expected to be present at the polling centre between 9:30am and 10am.
