Meeting of BPRA Ctg chapter held

A meeting of Bangladesh Public Relations Association (BPRA) in Chattogram was held on Monday evening at a restaurant in the port city.  

Chairman of Chattogram divisional committee of the organisation, Osman Gani Chowdhury, media adviser of GPH Steel Limited, presided over the meeting while the general secretary of the organisation, Saifuddin Ahmed Saki conducted the event.  

The meeting underscored on the importance of taking up programms to enhance the skills of public relations professionals, organising workshops and seminars, formation of welfare funds and the involvement of public relations professionals working in various government and private organisations in greater Chattogram.

Badrul Haider Chowdhury, regional director of Bangladesh Open University; Assistant Director (Public Relations) of the International Islamic University Mostak Khandaker; Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) Deputy Director (Public Relations) Khalilur Rahman, and Bangladesh Tea Board Deputy Director Madhul Kabir Chowdhury, among others, were present at the meeting.

Assistant Registrar of Chattogram Engineering and Technology University Md Fazlur Rahman; Chattogram University Assistant Registrar Mohammad Hossain; Deputy Registrar of BGC Trust University Salahuddin Shahriar; Concord Group Deputy Manager Biswajit Ghosh; Premier University Public Relations Officer (PRO) Shamsul Arefin, Chattogram Independent University PRO Mohiuddin Jewel; Yakub Ali, publicity officer of Bangladesh Forest Research Institute and Md Sahadat Hossain, information and publishing officer of CVASU were also at the meeting.
