At least 17 international flights were cancelled at Shah Amanat International Airport over the past two days, Wednesday and Thursday, as escalating tensions in the Middle East continued to disrupt air travel.
According to airport authorities, the cancellations on Wednesday and Thursday included multiple services operated by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, US-Bangla Airlines, Air Arabia and SalamAir. Public Relations Manager of Shah Amanat International Airport Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil confirmed the details.
Biman cancelled three arrival and four departure flights, while US-Bangla suspended two arrivals and two departures. Air Arabia cancelled two arrivals and two departures from Sharjah, and SalamAir cancelled one arrival and one departure flight.

Authorities said they are closely monitoring the situation, with further schedule changes likely depending on developments in the region.
