X Index Companies rebrands as XIC under ‘Vision 2050’ roadmap
X Index Companies has rebranded as XIC, unveiling its new identity at an event held at The Westin Dhaka as part of its "Vision 2050" roadmap.
The company states the rebrand signals a strategic shift towards becoming a more modern, research-driven organisation.
Founded in 1977, the group states it is moving beyond its legacy operating model to adopt a more participatory management approach over the next 25 years.
At the event, Architect Md Mazherul Quader, Chairman of the group, said the transformation aims to prepare the organisation to "responsibly serve future generations while honouring a five-decade legacy". He was also formally introduced as Chief Advisor and Chairman Emeritus of XIC.
Mahin Mazher, Managing Director, said the new identity reflects a shift in how the group intends to operate. "Our focus is on building a simpler, impact-driven organisation—one that is agile and aligned with global standards, while remaining connected to our local roots," he said.
The group states it plans to differentiate itself through an increased focus on research and development (R&D) to create products tailored for Bangladesh. It states the roadmap is built on four pillars—pure, simple, respectful, and impactful—with an emphasis on long-term sustainability and leadership in its markets.
