BUFT hosts Clemon Uni Campus Cricket Tournament 2025

BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) successfully hosted the Clemon Uni Campus Cricket Tournament 2025 on 28–29 April at its main campus, transforming the grounds into a lively centre of competition, teamwork and youthful enthusiasm.

The Department of Apparel Manufacturing & Technology (AMT) emerged as the Champion, while the Department of Apparel Merchandising & Management (AMM) finished as Runner-up. Shahriar Dipu from AMT was awarded Man of the Tournament for his outstanding all-around performance.

The prize-giving ceremony was graced by Mr Faruque Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of BUFT, who handed over trophies to the winners. Also present were Mr Muzaffar U Siddique, Founder Chairman of BoT; Mr Mohammed Nasir, BoT Member; Professor Dr Engr Ayub Nabi Khan, Acting Vice Chancellor; along with faculty members, officials, and a large number of spirited students.

Open to all departments with no registration fee, the tournament reflected BUFT's inclusive ethos and commitment to student engagement beyond the classroom. The event fostered sportsmanship on campus and further enhanced the university's visibility and outreach among students.

BUFT also extended heartfelt thanks to Clemon Sports for their generous support in promoting and nurturing young athletic talent.
