Peoples Insurance Company elects new director
This is to let the respected shareholders know that in the 442nd Board of Directors Meeting of Peoples Insurance Company Limited, held on 26 February 2025, the Board Members appointed Mr Mohammed Mizan Victor Mohsin as the company's Director.
Mr Victor Mohsin is Mr Mohammed Mohsin's son, the PHP family's Vice-Chairman. He recently completed his BSc in Psychology and Marketing from Goldsmiths University of London. He is currently involved in the functions of PHP Float Glass Industries Limited, PHP Aluminum, and PHP Integrated Steel Mills Limited and is the Managing Partner of Oxygen Sports Zone.
On the other hand, Mr Sobhit Bikash Barua, FCMA, Independent Director and Chairman of the company's Audit Committee, retired on the same day as his six-year tenure was completed. Mr. Barua elevated the company to a strong position by efficiently and transparently managing the financial statements and accounting departments.
