 OPPO launches  A5x  in Bangladesh at economical prices

OPPO, the global technology brand, is set to launch its latest smartphone, the OPPO A5x (4 GB+64 GB), in Bangladesh on May 15, 2025.

Standing out in this segment, the OPPO A5x redefines value with its combination of IP65 water and dust resistance, Military-Grade Drop Protection, and flagship-level features. Built for active outdoor users, the A5x delivers strength, endurance, and performance in a sleek package.

In a segment where durability is often compromised, the OPPO A5x offers IP65-certified protection against water and dust, making it perfect for everyday users who face unpredictable weather or dusty environments. With OPPO's innovative Water Splash Touch technology, the phone ensures accurate screen response even when wet, minimising false touches and allowing for smooth use during light rain or with damp fingers. Additionally, Gloves Touch enables users to operate the screen while wearing gloves, making it convenient in cold or rough outdoor conditions, such as those encountered on a motorbike.

The phone also features Outdoor Mode, which ensures ultra-clear screen visibility even in direct sunlight. This makes it a dependable device for individuals who spend extended periods outdoors.

Further strengthening its durability credentials, the OPPO A5x features Military-Grade Drop Resistance with 14-star Certification, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and SGS Gold Certification—a level of rugged protection rarely seen in this price segment. Whether you're commuting, working on the go, or facing accidental drops, the A5x is engineered to withstand everyday mishaps with confidence.

What sets the A5x further apart is its integration of flagship-level AI features, rarely found in entry-level smartphones. The device introduces an upgraded photography experience with features like AI Eraser 2.0, which removes unwanted elements from photos; AI Unblur, which sharpens blurry images; and AI Clarity Enhancer, which boosts detail in every shot. Additionally, AI Reflection Remover helps eliminate glare from reflective surfaces, while AI Studio 2.0 allows users to create studio-quality portraits with customisable effects. The inclusion of AI Smart Image Matting makes it easier to extract subjects from photos for creative editing and sharing.

In addition to its core durability and AI-powered tools, the OPPO A5x brings a complete smartphone experience. It features a 32mp rear camera and a 5mp front camera, a 6.67-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1000-nit brightness, providing clear visuals even in bright environments. The device also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick and secure access, as well as a 300% Ultra Volume mode for loud and clear audio in any setting. This is packed into a 7.99mm slim body, weighing just 193g, offering a comfortable grip and a lightweight feel. The A5x is available in two eye-catching colours—Laser White and Midnight Blue—that complement its rugged yet modern design.
