NCC Bank holds extra ordinary general meeting

National Credit and Commerce Bank PLC. conducted its 11^th Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) through a Digital platform and approved amendments to Articles 91, 94(1), and 94(2) of the Bank's Articles of Association (AoA).

Chairman of NCC Bank Md. Nurun Newaz Salim presided over the meeting while Vice-Chairman A S M Mainuddin Monem, Director and Past Vice-Chairman Sohela Hossain, Director Syed Asif Nizamuddin, Past Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the Executive Committee Khairul Alam Chaklader, Director Mohammed Sazzad Un NewazI, Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee Meer Sajed-Ul-Basher FCA virtually joined the meeting. Besides, managing director M Shamsul Arefin DMD, company secretary Md Monirul Alam, and shareholders were in the EGM through the digital platform, casting their votes.

In his speech, the bank's chairman, Md Nurun Newaz Salim, said that, based on Bangladesh Bank's advice, these amendments, which the Honourable shareholders accepted in the 11th Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), are remarkable steps for NCC Bank. They will make it easier to follow the regulatory body's instructions and manage the bank's operational work.
