Engr. Md Ashraful Habib Chowdhury of Dhaka WASA passes away
Dhaka WASA mourns the passing of Executive Engineer Md Ashraful Habib Chowdhury, who died on 27 November 2024 at the National Heart Foundation Hospital from a heart attack. Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un.
Md Ashraful, a graduate of BUET's 1999 Mechanical Engineering batch, was 42 years old. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, and many well-wishers.
Dhaka WASA Managing Director Mr Fazlur Rahman expressed condolences and shared his grief with the family.

His first janaza prayer was held at Dhaka WASA after the Asar prayer on 27 November. The second janaza took place at 11:00 AM on 28 November in Gaibandha, where he was laid to rest at the central cemetery.
Dhaka WASA mourns his loss and prays for his soul to rest in peace.
