BOU delegation joins MAGENDA project meeting in Nepal

A four-member delegation from Bangladesh Open University (BOU), led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr A B M Obaidul Islam, is participating in the MAGENDA Project Inaugural Meeting, scheduled for 16-17 March 2025 at Pokhara University, Nepal.
As part of the visit, Professor Dr A B M Obaidul Islam will also deliver a keynote speech titled "The Role of Partnership in Encouraging Regional Innovation through Distance Learning" at the International Conference on Science, Technology and Innovation-2025, to be held from 19-21 March 2025.
Accompanying the vice-chancellor are Professor Dr Sabina Yeasmin, project director of the MAGENDA Project and Open School, BOU; Dr Md Mizanoor Rahman, deputy project director of the MAGENDA Project and assistant professor at Open School, BOU; and Professor Dr Md Serazul Islam, MAGENDA Project researcher and director of IQAC, School of Agriculture and Rural Development, BOU.
During the visit, the delegation will hold joint meetings with the vice-chancellors of several universities in Nepal, India, and Europe. The international conference is expected to foster regional cooperation through collaborative education and research initiatives between Bangladesh Open University and Pokhara University.
