SI killed by train accident in the capital
The accident occurred around 9pm in the Farid Market area while he was returning to the Dakhin Khan Police Station after completing his duty at the Askona Hazi camp

A sub-inspector of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) tragically lost his life after being mowed down by a train on Friday night (16 May).
The deceased was identified as KM Mansur Ali, a father of two and originally from Pabna who was living with his family in the Pallavi Hazi Market area in the capital.
The accident occurred around 9pm in the Farid Market area while he was returning to the Dakhin Khan Police Station after completing his duty at the Askona Hazi camp, according to Taifur Rahaman Mirza, officer-in-charge of Dakhin Khan Police Station.
"He was later rushed to Kuwait Moitri Hospital, where the on-duty doctor pronounced him dead", the OC added.
