Labelling him 'Hasina's stooge', Chhatra Dal forces BKMEA President Hatem out of Narayanganj college event
Hatem says he has no plans to file a general diary (GD) or case over the incident

The incident occurred on Tuesday (11 November) afternoon during the Entrepreneur Conference 2025, organised by the Industrialists and Businessmen Welfare Foundation (IBDWF) to encourage young people to become entrepreneurs.
After Hatem's speech, the chief guest IBDWF President Muhammad Shahidul Islam addressed the audience. During his speech, some members of Tolaram College's Chhatra Dal unit entered the hall and drove Hatem out, calling him a "fascist stooge."
They later disrupted and shut down the entire conference.
When asked about the incident, Mohammad Hatem told The Business Standard, "People from a vested quarter in Narayanganj sent a few boys from the Chhatra Dal to create a scene. However, they didn't attack me."
He also stated that he has no plans to file a general diary (GD) or case over the incident.
"Since I was never involved with any political party, nor has anyone ever seen me take part in their programmes, they assume I'm linked to their rival party," he also said.
"My only party is the business community. I represent a business organisation. No matter which government is in power, I work with them to protect the interests of businessmen. I have no political ideology," Hatem said.
