Fire in Dhanmondi-5 building brought under control
Six units of fire service are working on bringing the blaze under control

The fire that broke out on the eighth floor of a 12-storey residential building on road no 5 in Dhanmondi this morning (21 August) is now under control.
The fire started at 10:25am, said Lima Khanam, a duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters.
Six units of fire service rushed to the spot at 10:40am and brought the blaze under control at 11:17am, she said.
