Zoom meeting from prison: Destiny MD shifted to Keraniganj jail from BSMMU

Ending 82 days of treatment at the BSMMU, Destiny Group Managing Director Rafiqul Amin has been taken back to Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj after a leaked video of him joining a Zoom meeting from the hospital's prison ward went viral on social media.

He was taken back to the jail at 4pm, Inspector General (IG) of Prisons Brigadier General Md Mominur Rahman Mamun told The Business Standard.

Regarding the Zoom meeting from the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University's (BSMMU) prison ward, the IG Prisons said action will be taken against him as per the Prison Act.
