Yunus was previously registered as a voter in Mirpur but will now cast his vote in Gulshan

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus will now cast his vote in Gulshan after officially transferring his voting address from the Grameen Bank Complex in Mirpur, Dhaka, following approval from the National Identity Registration Wing.
The change was approved by Director General of the National Identity Registration Wing ASM Humayun Kabir following Muhammad Yunus' written application on 2 February, which received final approval on 17 February. The voter area update was processed the next day.
According to Election Commission Secretariat officials, Muhammad Yunus was previously registered as a voter in Mirpur but will now cast his vote in Gulshan. District and upazila election officers confirmed that he now is officially a voter of Ward-19 of Dhaka North City Corporation.
EC Public Relations Director Ruhul Amin Mallick explained that voter transfers are an ongoing process. Citizens must fill out Form-13 and submit it to the election office with required documents. Once verified by the NID Wing, the voter's name is moved to the new address in the voter list.
