31 DIGs, additional DIGs get new postings

The government has issued new posting orders for 31 high-ranked police officials – deputy inspector generals (DIG) and additional deputy inspector generals.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a gazette notification in this regard on Tuesday, saying the order will come into effect immediately.
Some 20 of the police officials got promotion recently to DIG and additional DIG ranks but were yet to get new postings, while two reported the headquarters upon completion of education leave and foreign mission.
