2018 election: ACC seeks info on officials from centres with 100% voter turnout
The ACC is investigating individuals allegedly involved in vote rigging and power abuse during the 2014, 2018, and 2024 national elections

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has sent a letter to the Election Commission (EC) seeking information about officials involved in polling centres that reported 100% voter turnout during the 2018 national election.
ACC Director General Akhtar Hossain confirmed the development while speaking to reporters at the anti-graft watchdog's headquarters in Dhaka today (23 June).
He said the ACC is investigating individuals allegedly involved in vote rigging and power abuse during the 2014, 2018, and 2024 national elections.
Akhtar noted that the ACC launched an inquiry into these allegations in January this year and formed a five-member probe committee.
As part of its investigation, the committee sent the letter to the EC.
