Trump claims attack on Venezuelan port, 2 killed
US President Donald Trump has claimed responsibility for an attack on a Venezuelan port, saying it was the first ground attack by US forces on boats carrying drugs. Qatar-based Al Jazeera reported the attack took place on December 29. At the same time, at least two people were killed in an attack on a drug-laden boat in the eastern Pacific Ocean, which the US Southern Command described as narco-terrorists. Trump did not specify where or who carried out the attack, but said the boats were in port.
