Two murder cases filed against Hasina, Quader in Gazipur

Two separate cases have been filed against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, former road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader and 217 others over the killing of two men during the anti-discrimination student movement in Gazipur's Kaliakair on 4 August.
The two deceased are Md Jasim Fakir, 36, and Shahinur Mahmud Sheikh, 40, both residents of Kaliakair upazila.
Gazipur Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Najmus Sakib Khan said both cases were filed with Kaliakair Police Station. He added that one case was filed on Friday night and another on Saturday morning.
