Nayeem strikes twice but Zimbabwe yet comfortable

Nayeem Hasan struck twice in the second session of the one-off Test against Zimbabwe to peg the visitors back. But yet, Zimbabwe are yet in a comfortable position as they have ended the session on 150-3.

After winning the toss and deciding to bat, Zimbabwe started their second innings on 80-1. Soon, their opener Prince Masvaure picked up his fifty and his stand with skipper Craig Ervine reached triple figures.

Bangladesh had a couple of opportunities but failed to latch on to them. Nayeem managed to trouble the Zimbabwean batsmen and found Masvaure's edge. But Nazmul Hossain Shanto at slip fluffed the opportunity and Bangladesh were left gasping.

It was Nayeem who brought the breakthrough when Masvaure gave him a return catch to go back for 56. Coming at no. 4, Brendan Taylor started hastily and gave an opportunity attempting a reverse sweep. But wicket-keeper Liton Das could not latch on and Taylor survived. Taylor attempted the same shot again in the next delivery and it proved to be a shot too many. The ball ricocheted off his bat and struck timber and Taylor had to go back for 10 off 11 deliveries. 

Ervine and Sikandar Raza saw out the rest of the session as Ervine was unbeaten on 60.
