Popular actress Faria Shahrin is set to play the role of a Kashmiri girl in a romantic tele-drama on Valentine's Day. The cast includes Manoj Pramanik as the male lead. The fictional piece is directed by Kazi Saif. The screenplay is written by Mahatab Hossain.

Regarding the role, Faria Shahrin said, "I am acting after a long time. Now I want to do some work. But that does not necessarily mean that I will act in any role I get. I want to be selective. I will work on some stories that are trendy but varied. Having worked in 'Kashmiri Premika', I had a pleasant experience. My family members were saying that I really looked like a Kashmiri girl."

Meanwhile, Manoj said, "It's a wonderful script. Shooting has already been completed. It is a Valentine's Day tele-drama. So, there will be different aspects of love in the story. I believe the audience will enjoy watching the play."

Producer Kazi Saif Ahmed said, "Kashmiri girl is quintessentially a love story. However, this one is a bit unconventional. There is definitely aspects of Kashmir in the story. Nothing more can be said right now. Shooting started on 3rd January in different spots in Uttara."

Producers said that the drama will be aired on a TV channel on Valentine's Day in February.
