Misha Ali to lead Uber Eats in Bangladesh
Misha’s immediate focus will be to spread Uber Eats services across the country.

Uber Eats, an online food delivery service, has announced the appointment of Misha Ali, the country's experienced e-commerce and start-up professional, to lead its operations in Bangladesh.
Having 12 years of experience in the e-commerce arena, Misha Ali will focus on developing and spreading the Uber Eats' business across the country, said a press release issued yesterday.
"I am extremely excited to be part of Uber Eats - a company which is changing the way people eat food everyday across the world," said Misha.
"I've always been passionate about getting delicious food to consumers at their doorsteps through technology. Food delivery is about to become a massive industry in Bangladesh, and the opportunities for food delivery companies are endless," he added.
Head of Uber Eats India & South Asia, Bhavik Rathod said, "We are excited to have him on board to lead the launch of Uber Eats in Bangladesh. His knowledge of the market and experience, especially in leading a food delivery start-up, will add immense value to our business here."
"We are optimistic about our upcoming launch in Dhaka and will leverage our ridesharing network to connect consumers. We look forward to becoming an integral part of the food culture of the city," he continued on the plan of Uber Eats.
Prior to joining Uber Eats, Misha held leadership positions in prominent local and international companies like Bikroy.com, Renata Limited, Hewlett Packard and Ogilvy.
He also founded Cookups - a platform that delivers homemade food and aims at women empowerment.
Launched in Los Angeles in 2014, the Uber Eats started its operation as a small food delivery service.
Now, the online food delivery service has operations in over 350 cities around the globe and customers can place orders through its standalone application.
