EC assigns 10 officials to receive election-related information, complaints
In the Mymensingh region, Senior Assistant Secretary Mohammad Murad Uddin Hawladar has been appointed as the designated official.
The Election Commission (EC) has assigned 10 officials to receive information and complaints related to the upcoming national election and referendum.
According to a press release issued today (6 January), Salahuddin Ahmed, deputy director of the EC Secretariat, has been assigned to oversee the Khulna region. He can be contacted at mobile number 01712591144 and email khulna.region.complain@ecs.gov.bd.
For the Faridpur region, Mohammad Nurul Hasan Bhuiyan, deputy director of the Election Training Institute, has been designated. His contact details are mobile 01711369976 and email faridpur.region.complain@ecs.gov.bd.

Assistant Secretary Mohammad Al-Mamun has been assigned to the Barishal region (mobile: 01937638035, email: barishal.region.complain@ecs.gov.bd), while Misbah Uddin Ahmed, assistant director of the EC Secretariat, will oversee the Sylhet region (mobile: 01717244078, email: sylhet.region.complain@ecs.gov.bd).
Assistant Director Zakir Mahmud has been appointed for the Dhaka region (mobile: 01718564635, email: dhaka.region.complain@ecs.gov.bd). Assistant Secretary Syed Golam Rashed will handle the Rangpur region (mobile: 01818268082, email: rangpur.region.complain@ecs.gov.bd), and Assistant Director Muhammad Sarwar Hossain has been assigned to the Chattogram region (mobile: 01717405594, email: chattogram.region.complain@ecs.gov.bd).
For Rajshahi, Assistant Secretary Md Momtaz-al-Shibli has been designated (mobile: 01676324609, email: rajshahi.region.complain@ecs.gov.bd), while in Cumilla, Assistant Director Md Ikramul Hasan will receive complaints (mobile: 01797185123, email: cumilla.region.complain@ecs.gov.bd).
In addition, election-related information and complaints can be sent to two central EC email addresses: centralcord.complain@ecs.gov.bd and mscentralcord.complain@ecs.gov.bd.
The EC also noted that on December 14, 2025, it formed election investigation and judicial committees for all 300 parliamentary constituencies, each comprising judiciary officers. Complaints related to specific constituencies can be submitted directly to these committees as well
