DU changes marks distribution for admission test 2020-21
Deans of the concerned faculties will decide the questions based on the time and subject of the examination
The Dhaka University (DU) authorities have made changes in the 2020-21 academic session's intake tests marks distribution.
According to the decision of the committee, a total of 100 marks test exam will be held in these four units A, B, C and D in this year intake test.
The decision was taken on Monday morning at a meeting of the Deans' committee presided by the Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman.

Of the total 100 marks, 20 marks will be reserved to evaluate each aspirant's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) results and the admission test will be held on the rest 80 marks.
As per the decision, of the rest 80 marks, 40 will be reserved for written test and 40 for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
Deans of the concerned faculties will decide the time and the questions based on the subjects of the examination.
Earlier, to curb the spread of coronavirus, the Deans Committee of Dhaka University decided to hold the university entrance tests this year in eight divisional centres across the country to ensure participation of all admission aspirants.
There are now 60,000 seats in 39 public universities across the country. But for the first time ever, the country will see a 100% pass rate in HSC, without any exams.
Since all 13 lakh HSC examinees will pass, this will make all admission seekers eligible to sit for university entrance tests.
