2 ex-MPs among 13 Awami League leaders, activists arrested by DB
Among the arrestees are former Brahmanbaria-5 constituency MP Faizur Rahman Badal and former reserved women’s seat-324 lawmaker Tamanna Nusrat Bubly
The Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 13 leaders and activists of the banned Awami League, including two former MPs, under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
The DB shared the news through a short message this morning (29 September), which did not mention when and where the arrests took place.
Among the arrestees are former Brahmanbaria-5 constituency MP Fayzur Rahman Badal and former reserved women's seat-324 lawmaker Tamanna Nusrat Bubly, the DB said.
