Community Bank signs agreement with WZPDCL

Community Bank Bangladesh PLC. has signed a three-year agreement with West Zone Power Distribution Company Limited (WZPDCL) to collect all types of electricity bills in the western region of the country. The signing ceremony was recently held at the Khulna Club.

Md Azizur Rahman, General Manager of the Finance Department of WZPDCL, and Kimiwa Saddat, Managing Director (Current Charge) of Community Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

Key representatives present from both parties included Md Abdul Khaleque (DGM, Finance), Shahin Akter Pervin (Superintendent Engineer, Commercial), Ruhul Amin (Executive Engineer and Company Secretary), Mohammad Afser Hasan (Manager, Accounts), Md Moktar Hassain (Deputy Manager, Finance), Sazol Kumar Roy and Robiul Islam (Assistant Managers, Accounts), Hedayet Islam (Assistant Engineer, Commercial), Dr Md Ariful Islam (Head of Corporate Banking and Head of Business, Branch), Md Mamun ur Rahman (Head of ADC and MD's Coordination Team), and Md Roqonuzzaman (Khulna Branch Manager).

Under the renewed agreement, Community Bank will once again be responsible for collecting both prepaid and postpaid electricity bills across the western region for the next three years. This collaboration aims to ensure seamless and efficient payment services for consumers in the region.
