Uttara University ranked in RUR 2025 among top 1000 universities for research excellence

Uttara University has secured a position in the Round University Ranking (RUR) 2025, marking its growing global standing in higher education. In the latest rankings released on 4 June 2025, the university ranked 949th worldwide in the research category, reflecting its strength in academic innovation and international engagement.

The RUR 2025 evaluated institutions from over 85 countries based on teaching, research, international diversity, and financial sustainability. Uttara University's performance across these key indicators demonstrates its commitment to academic excellence, research-focused learning, and global collaboration.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Eaysmin Ara Lekha described the achievement as a result of the dedication of faculty members, researchers, students, and the administration. She noted that the university remains focused on advancing while upholding international standards.
