Flight diverted from Ctg to Dhaka due to bad weather, resumes journey to Dubai after delay
After halting overnight, the aircraft resumed its route and returned to Chattogram at 4:16am

A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight en route from Dhaka to Chattogram and onward to Dubai was diverted back to Dhaka last night due to adverse weather conditions, delaying its journey by several hours.
The flight, BG147, which was scheduled to fly from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC) to Shah Amanat International Airport (CGP) before heading to Dubai, was forced to return to Dhaka at approximately 9:44pm last night (29 May) due to weather turbulence in the Chattogram region.
According to Engineer Ibrahim Khalil, the Public Relations Officer of Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport, "Due to unfavorable weather, the aircraft could not land in Chattogram and was diverted back to Dhaka for safety reasons."
After halting overnight, the aircraft resumed its route and returned to Chattogram at 4:16am. It then departed for Dubai at 5:31am once weather conditions improved.
Passengers were informed and accommodated during the delay, airline officials said.
No injuries or technical issues were reported, and flight operations at both airports have since returned to normal.
