Biman’s Sharjah-Dhaka flight delayed 6.5 hours due to technical issues

A technical fault delayed Biman Bangladesh Airlines' flight BG-352 from Sharjah to Dhaka by six and a half hours, affecting subsequent flight schedules.
Originally scheduled to depart at 1:15am local time today (30 July) and arrive in Dhaka at 8:30am, the Boeing 737 aircraft finally left Sharjah at 6:42am and landed in Dhaka at around 1:30pm, according to Biman's Public Relations Department.
The delay had a knock-on effect on flight BG-388 from Dhaka to Bangkok, which was to be operated by the same aircraft.
Scheduled to depart at 11am, the Bangkok flight was delayed until 2:30pm, leaving passengers stranded at Shahjalal International Airport throughout the morning.
This incident marks at least the 10th incident of flight delays caused by technical issues in the past two months.
