IFIC Bank donated bus to PSTU to upgrade the transport facilities

IFIC Bank has donated a bus to the Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) to facilitate better student transportation.

IFIC Bank Chairman, Mr Mehmood Husain, officially handed over the bus key to PSTU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr Kazi Rafiqul Islam. 
The handover ceremony took place today, Thursday, 15 May 2025, at the TSC Conference Hall of the university. Among those present at the event were IFIC Bank's Managing Director, Mr Syed Mansur Mustafa, Deputy Managing Director and Chief of Branch Business, Mr Rafiqul Islam, Head of Operations, Mr Helal Ahmed, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Mr Dilip Kumar Mandal, PSTU Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor S M Hemayet Jahan, Treasurer, Professor Md—Abdul Latif, along with members of the Academic Council and students.

During the handover, IFIC Bank Chairman Mr Mehmood Husain stated that IFIC Bank is not just a financial institution—it is committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities. He remarked that the university plays a vital role in national development through education, research, and knowledge creation, and IFIC Bank is proud to support such noble efforts.
