Police arrested former lawmaker from Mymensingh-11 (Bhaluka) constituency Kazim Uddin Ahmed Dhanu from the city's Aftab Nagar area early today (15 May). 

He was arrested from Aftab Nagar area at around 3:05am today by Jatrabari Police following intelligence information, Deputy Commissioner of DB Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the arrest.

Kazim was arrested in a murder case filed with Jatrabari police station on 26 August 2024.
