US-Bangla to resume normal flights on all Middle East routes from tomorrow
Flights are scheduled to depart Dhaka every day at 7:30pm for Doha, with the return flight departing the Qatari capital at 11:30pm local time
US-Bangla Airlines will resume its normal flight operations across all destinations in the Middle East as the regional situation improves, according to a press release issued by the carrier.
The latest addition to the restored schedule is the Dhaka–Doha route, which will resume daily operations starting tomorrow (23 April).
Flights are scheduled to depart Dhaka every day at 7:30pm for Doha, with the return flight departing the Qatari capital at 11:30pm local time.
For other destinations, the airline operates direct flights from Dhaka to Muscat, while the return flights land in Dhaka via Chattogram.
The airline, which has been operating scheduled international flights to various Middle Eastern cities since its inception to serve Bangladeshi expatriates, had faced disruptions since 28 February when the United States and Israel launched an attack on Iran.
Like many other international carriers, US-Bangla's regular schedule was impacted by restrictions stemming from the ongoing conflict in the region.
With the return to normalcy, the airline is now operating flights to Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Doha, Riyadh, and Jeddah.
Daily flights from Dhaka to Dubai are also operated via Chattogram. Connectivity to Abu Dhabi is available six days a week, excluding Thursdays, while Sharjah is served four days a week, according to the release.
Operations in Saudi Arabia include flights to Riyadh five days a week on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, while Jeddah is served three days a week on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
The airline also announced plans to launch flights to Madinah and Dammam in the near future.
