Premier Bank unveils tailored banking services for BCS health cadre
The Premier Bank PLC has introduced a range of specialised banking services, including financing for private chambers, hospitals and diagnostic centres, for members of the BCS Health Cadre.
Dr Arifur Rahman, Chairman of The Premier Bank PLC, announced the services at BCS Health Cadre Day 2026, held recently at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, according to a press release. The event invited the bank as Banking Partner.
The bank participated as a Banking Partner in the event, organised by the Bangladesh Civil Service Health Cadre Association (BCSHCA).
The proposed benefits include financing for small and medium-sized enterprises, preferential fixed deposit receipt rates, pre-approved credit cards, special home and car loan facilities, and QR code-based digital payment solutions.
Addressing the event as a distinguished guest, Dr Arifur Rahman recalled how physicians, engineers and agriculturists advanced the rights and recognition of professionals through their united movement in 1978.
He also spoke about his involvement in initiatives that facilitated the procurement and introduction of Covid-19 vaccines from the global market during the pandemic.
The organisers expressed hope that such initiatives would support professional development, encourage constructive policy dialogue and contribute to more efficient, accessible and sustainable healthcare services across Bangladesh.
