Why are thousands of migrants fleeing across the sea to Spain?
Nearly 60,000 people have tried to enter Europe from Africa in just 24 hours. A ruling by Spain's Supreme Court and rumors spread by human traffickers are being blamed for the migrant surge in Ceuta. People from Morocco and various African countries are risking their lives crossing the sea in the hope of escaping poverty and unemployment. At least 57 people have died in the process. To deal with the situation, European countries, including Spain, are increasing border security and are talking about tough measures to deal with the migration crisis.
