Australian Education Expo showcases 30 institutions in Dhaka

The Australian Education Expo in Dhaka on Saturday offered prospective students information on 30 Australian universities and educational institutions, along with guidance on admissions, scholarships and student visas.

Executive Study Abroad organised the day-long event at The Westin Dhaka and invited prospective students to attend, according to a press release.

Mohammad Rabbani Hossain, Chief Executive of Executive Study Abroad, inaugurated the expo.

Sazzadur Rahman, Director of Executive Study Abroad; Farhana Nazrin, General Manager; and representatives of leading Australian universities attended the opening.

The institutions featured at the expo included Monash University, Macquarie University and the University of Adelaide.

Students interacted directly with university representatives, explored scholarship opportunities, and received on-the-spot admission assessments.

They also received information on academic programmes, tuition fees, English-language requirements, application procedures, documentation, visa processing, part-time employment opportunities, and student life in Australia.

Mohammad Rabbani Hossain said interest among Bangladeshi students in pursuing higher education in Australia had increased significantly in recent years.

He attributed the trend to Australia's internationally recognised education system, research opportunities, multicultural environment, and post-study employment prospects.

He said the expo aimed to provide students with accurate information and professional guidance so they could make informed decisions about higher education.

Sazzadur Rahman said that Executive Study Abroad would continue to support prospective students after the expo.

Students will be able to obtain free counselling and assistance from the organisation's office on university selection, scholarships, admission applications, visa processing, and other aspects of studying in Australia, he added.
