UCB board reviews deposit performance at year-end meeting
United Commercial Bank (UCB) board of directors expressed satisfaction over the bank's deposit growth and conveyed appreciation to all stakeholders at the board's final meeting of the year, held on 23 December at the bank's head office.
The meeting was chaired by Sharif Zahir, Chairman of UCB.
The meeting was attended by Md Shazzad Hossoin, Independent Director and Vice-Chairman; Md Tanvir Khan, Director and Chairman of the Executive Committee; Md Yusuf Ali, Independent Director and Chairman of the Risk Management Committee; Obaidur Rahman, FCA, Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee; Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer; and Tanvir Ahmed Siddiqui, Company Secretary, along with other senior officials.
