Trust Bank PLC partners with UnionPay International
Trust Bank PLC has signed a significant agreement with UnionPay International in Shanghai, China, marking a new milestone in the partnership between the two organisations.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury, Managing Director & CEO of Trust Bank PLC, and Mr Larry Wang, CEO of UnionPay International, along with senior officials from both institutions.
Mr Mostafa Musharrof, Senior Vice President & Head of the Card Division of Trust Bank PLC, and Mr Cai Huiming, General Manager for Southeast Asia of UnionPay International, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

Under the terms of the agreement, both parties will collaborate on the issuance and acceptance of UnionPay debit and credit cards in Bangladesh. This strategic partnership is expected to offer significant benefits to local customers, particularly business professionals, medical travellers, and tourists travelling to and from China, by providing them with convenient and secure payment solutions.
