Indian tourist visas and other categories of visas for Bangladeshi citizens will be resumed very soon, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed said today (27 February).
"We have already held a meeting with the Indian high commissioner. They are positive regarding the resumption of visa services," she told journalists while speaking to reporters after distributing relief assistance among families affected by a recent fire in Faridpur's Saltha upazila.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working to ensure that all types of visa processes return to normal quickly and that Bangladeshi citizens can travel to India," she added.
